The weather conditions were just terrible in New York during the 2016 snow storm on Saturday 23rd, 2016. These pictures were taken in Downtown Manhattan;[I also previously posted the pictures of the aftermath][/post/wall-street-snow/].

The strong wind made it really hard to walk and the snow prevented some city services from running efficiently, but I still managed to get out of the hotel room that day to go get lunch. Admirably, the MTA subway was still running in Manhattan on the underground tracks; overground services were stopped in the afternoon and the Governor of New York issued a ban on traffic for the rest of the day at 2:30pm, when I started heading back to my hotel, the Doubletree by Hilton New York City - Financial District
