Squirrels

I love taking pictures of animals. It is very rewarding to get a decent shot when they are moving so fast and—more often than not—in the opposite direction from the camera. The picture above and the picture below were taken in Battery Park, New York City, the day after the disastrous 2016 snow storm.

Unfortunately, my pop-up flash was broken, so the squirrel looks a little dark…

I took this picture on the Harvard campus during my trip to Boston in December 2013. I used my Canon EF 28-135mm lens to take this picture from afar, without frightening the squirrel.

This picture was taken at the Epcot Park in Walt Disney World, Florida, with the same Canon lens.
