Some pictures of New York during the 2016 Snow Storm

The weather conditions were just terrible in New York during the 2016 snow storm on Saturday 23rd, 2016. These pictures were taken in Downtown Manhattan;[I also previously posted the pictures of the aftermath][/post/wall-street-snow/]. Battery Park—a lovely park located in Downtown Manhattan, NYC—was pretty memorable the day after the epic snow storm on January 23rd, 2016 that left New York City covered in snow. Few people were in the park, probably because of the cold and the fact that it was a Sunday afternoon, but that made the experience all the more enjoyable. Spring Break in New York City

Going to New York was a very old dream of mine. I bought the National Geographic City Guide two years before even going to Seattle, that’s how bad it’s gotten. Studying in Seattle was therefore the right occasion to bite into the Big Apple. Thanks to my uncle and his lovely wife, I was able to stay a full week in New York and enjoy great sightseeing and delicacies from all around the world. Read more...
