The Space Needle
I attended several immersion programs at Seattle University before classes started. I made a friend named Erica in one of them. At the end of the program we decided on a whim that we would go to the Space Needle the next day. And so we did.
The Seattle Space Needle is pretty small compared to the Eiffel Tower. Although I am from Paris, I have never been on top of the Eiffel Tower! So I was very scared to go on top of the Space Needle.
Queuing for the attraction was pure torture. You could tell that I was really stressed: I started talking to everybody in queue about the fake reasons on why we should all leave this evil place.
And then another elevator! Scarier than the one in the library! People around me where laughing because I was holding myself to the rails and screaming like a child...
We eventually made it to the top!
Of course I had to risk my life again by walking around the center of the needle to admire the scenery...
And when I thought I was done with being scared, Erica pointed something frightening to me :
These two gigantic spiders are actually trompe l'oeil. Pfiiiouuu... Now let's get back to the ground!
Oh wait! I had to prove that I'd been there!
